A zesty, fruity, and sweet whipped ricotta dip that’s the perfect summer app or dessert. Just the right amount of light and sweet!
I’m having a moment with whipped dips. I’ve made several whipped cheese dips and I just can't get enough of them! Every time I make one, I bring it along to a friend's house and they practically drool all over it. Whipped Dips are THE BEST.
If you haven’t tried making your own whipped dip, don’t fret, they’re so simple to make and only take a few minutes of your time.
This Sweet Whipped Ricotta Dip is great as a sweet appetizer or as a light and creamy dessert. Topped with fresh summer berries for added natural sweetness!
What Do You Serve with this Dip?
These are some of my favorite vessels for scooping up this delicious dip.
- Cinnamon & Sugar Pita Chips
- Graham Crackers
- Ritz Crackers
- Toasted Crostini Bread
- Naan Bread
- Pretzels

What Ingredients are Needed for Sweet Whipped Ricotta Dip?
Ricotta: Whole milk ricotta will produce creamier results than a lower fat ricotta. I think both are still delicious, just note that a part-skim ricotta will be a looser consistency and not as creamy.
Greek Yogurt: The tanginess of the Greek yogurt acts as a stabilizer for the sweet ingredients.
Lemon: Zest and juice.
Vanilla: For added flavor.
Honey: Drizzled on top for sweetness perfection.
Fresh Berries: Blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, or raspberries! Choose your preference.

How to Make Sweet Whipped Ricotta Dip
Whip the Dip: Add ricotta and greek yogurt to a food processor/blender. Blend until a velvety smooth texture is achieved, approx. 1 minute. Add the lemon juice, ½ the lemon zest, and vanilla extract. Blend until just combined.
Mash the Berries: In a small bowl, mash together the blueberries and strawberries with a fork.
Serve: Remove ricotta mixture from the blender and place in a serving bowl. Top with mashed blueberries and strawberries. Drizzle with honey and finish off with the remaining lemon zest. Serve with cinnamon and sugar graham crackers, toasted bread, pretzels, or whatever you desire!
