A refreshing, paloma-inspired mocktail loaded with good-for-you nutrients from fresh grapefruits!
As I approach my 30’s my body has been rejecting alcohol more and more. Gone are the days when I’d toss back drinks with zero repercussions. I don’t know about you all, but my hangovers last two days now regardless of how much or little I drink.
And honestly, drinking alcohol just doesn’t really serve me anymore. Sure it’s still fun to order a whimsical cocktail when out with friends, but I don’t find much joy in alcoholic drinks anymore. My sleep and my gut suffer when I drink and I’m left feeling sluggish the following day. This leads to me breaking my routines and habits, low energy, and really impacts my mood.
This mocktail recipe is something I created in order to prioritize my well-being.
You can still have fun when drinking a mocktail. The alcohol doesn’t make something fun, it’s the people you surround yourself with!
This mocktail is for anyone like me, looking to still partake in the fun bevvy of the night but without the negative effects of alcohol. Momma’s-to-be… this one’s for you too! This would make a great baby shower beverage!

What Ingredients are Needed for Sparkling Grapefruit Mocktail?
Plain Seltzer Water: The base of our drink, making it fun and bubby is plain seltzer water.

Sugar-Free Simple Syrup: I use Swoon sugar-free simple syrup that I buy on Amazon.
Grapefruit: Slices or wedges of fresh grapefruit as a garnish.
Rosemary: Fresh rosemary sprigs as a garnish.
