This hearty and creamy ravioli and kale soup is the comfort food of your dreams. A creamy tomato sauce, cheesy raviolis, and hearty kale come together in one pot and just under 30 minutes.
There’s nothing more comforting than a warm bowl of soup or a soft pillowy ravioli, so together they make the absolute best comfort food meal. In my house, we eat raviolis at least once a week. We always grab a pack from Trader Joe’s during our weekly shopping trip because they have the best variety of flavors!
Sometimes we’re boring and just eat our ravs with Rao’s pasta sauce or Trader Joe’s pesto. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that - that’s a 5 minute meal! But sometimes we want to get a little bit more creative and that’s where this One Pot Creamy Ravioli and Kale Soup comes in handy! This recipe takes just under 30 minutes to whip up, so it’s still a perfect option for a weeknight meal.
Pair this creamy ravioli and kale soup with some crusty bread and a glass of red wine and it’s absolute bliss.

Ingredients Needed for this One Pot Creamy Ravioli & Kale Soup
Veggies & Herbs: A combination of onions, garlic, basil, italian seasoning, and mushrooms for flavor. Plus some hearty kale to pack in some nutrients.
Creamy Broth: Tomato paste, vegetable broth, heavy cream, and diced tomatoes make up our creamy red sauce broth.
Raviolis: 16 ounces of plain cheese and regular-sized raviolis is what this recipe calls for, however feel free to play around with whichever variety of raviolis you prefer. A mushroom or spinach filled ravioli would also work well and complement the other ingredients in this dish.
Parmesan Cheese: We’re adding 2 tablespoons of freshly shredded parmesan cheese into the soup and any more you want on top!

How to Make this One Pot Creamy Ravioli & Kale Soup
This dish comes together in under 30 minutes and just one pot so it’s super super easy to make.
Just saute the onions, mushrooms, and garlic.
Add the tomato paste, broth, diced tomatoes, basil, and kale. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
Add water and the raviolis and bring to a boil. Once the ravioli float to the top, stir in the heavy cream and parmesan cheese.
Serve and enjoy topped with more parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, or fresh basil!
