Dairy-free, no-bake pudding pie! Calling all s’mores lovers - I’ve got a super simple recipe for you. This s’mores pudding pie is simplicity at its finest and packed with all the flavors you love from this bonfire classic food.
I’m a firm believer in simple recipes. Why make something more complicated than it has to be? This no bake s’more pudding pie recipe is the epitome of simplicity. Graham cracker crust, pudding, and whipped cream are the main ingredients to this pie, and guess what, you don’t have to make them from scratch!
SUPER SIMPLE. Sometimes store bought items can be a real lifesaver. In this instance, they make up the entirety of this pie recipe. Can you imagine making your own graham cracker crust, pudding, and whipped cream all from scratch? That would take hours! This pie gives you instant satisfaction as it only takes a few minutes to make and assemble. Once the pudding filling sets in the fridge, add your toppings, and boom in just around 35 minutes you have the s’mores pudding pie of your dreams!
A lot of s’mores pudding pie recipes toast the marshmallow topping with a kitchen torch. Seriously, who owns one of those?! I certainly don’t. So I came up with this recipe for those of us with regular kitchen gadgets.
DAIRY FREE?! It doesn’t seem like this could possibly be dairy free, but with a few simple swaps and variations it is! The whip cream topping is from coconut whip cream, a dairy-free alternative that tastes just as good (or possibly better) as the original. Dairy-free mini chocolate chips from Enjoy Life, are used in place of regular chocolate chips. And coconut milk is mixed with the pudding mix. Boom dairy free swaps that are completely attainable and simple! That being said, if you don't need this to be dairy-free, I provide swaps and recommendations in the notes section.
There’s nothing better than the combination of gooey marshmallows, chocolate, and crunchy graham crackers. I think it might possibly be my favorite summer treat! Nothing gets me going more than seeing a bonfire and long sticks ready for toasting up marshmallows. But what about the other three seasons of the year? I still crave that s’mores combination! Enter s’mores pudding pie - a treat great for any time of the year.
No bonfire required!
