Grilled Fajita Chicken Kebabs

    The most flavorful and juicy chicken kebabs, perfect for summertime grilling!


    This recipe is the perfect fajita flavor marinade for your chicken kebabs! The longer you let the chicken marinate with these flavors, the juicery and tasiter it gets.

    There is nothing worse than bland chicken. With a little extra forethought, you can avoid having boring chicken. For this recipe, make sure to marinate the chicken in the seasonings for at least one hour before grilling.

    What Ingredients are Needed for Grilled Fajita Chicken Kebabs?

    Chicken Breast: Boneless and skinless chicken breast, chopped into cube-sized pieces for easy skewering.

    Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil: For the marinade.

    Lime Juice: For the marinade.

    Spices: A combination of chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, coriander, and cayenne pepper.

    How to Make Grilled Fajita Chicken Kebabs

    Marinate: Cube the chicken breasts and add to a container with a lid. Add olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and lime juice to the container. Close the lid and shake until chicken is coated in the liquids. Remove the lid and add all the spices. Shake again with the lid on until the chicken is coated with the spices. 

    Soak: Soak approx. 6 skewers in a shallow dish of water. This will prevent them from burning on the grill. Minimum time needed is 30 minutes, but can leave them for a few hours while the chicken is marinating.

    Grill: Skewer the chicken in the center of each cube, approximately 5-6 pieces per skewer. Heat the grill to 375° F and grill on each side for 4 minutes. Remove from the grill and enjoy!

    Ingredients:

    • 1 lb, boneless skinless, chicken breast, cubed
    • ⅛ cup, balsamic vinegar
    • ⅛ cup, olive oil
    • 1 tbsp, lime juice
    • 1 tsp, cumin
    • ½ tsp, coriander
    • 1 tsp, chili powder
    • 1 tsp, garlic powder
    • ½ tsp, cayenne pepper

    Directions:

    1. Add the cubed chicken breast into a container with a lid. Pour the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and lime juice over the chicken and shake the container (with the lid on).
    2. Sprinkle all the spices over the chicken. Shake the container again with the lid on.
    3. Let chicken marinate in the fridge for at least one hour or overnight.
    4. Fill a shallow pan with water and place your skewers in the water. Let them soak for 30 minutes, this will prevent them from burning on the grill.
    5. Skewer the chicken in the center of each cube, approximately 5-6 pieces per skewer.
    6. Heat the grill to 375 F and grill on each side for 4 minutes.
    7. Remove from the grill and enjoy!
    Notes:
    1. Can let skewers soak overnight with the chicken as well, the minimum time needed is 30 minutes.
