Chewy, chocolatey, gluten-free brownies that will have your tastebuds doing backflips! Made from wholesome, good-for-you ingredients these brownies have all the decadence of a traditional brownie with none of the refined sugar.
I’m absolutely loving baking with tahini lately. It makes everything so gooey, creamy, and delicious. I love the texture and the way it tastes. If you haven’t tried baking with tahini yet, now is your chance!
So, what is tahini? Tahini is a combination of sesame seeds and oil. The sesames are ground and blended with the oil to create a creamy seed butter! Tahini’s flavor profile is very nutty and earthy.
What can I make with tahini? You might think of hummus when I say tahini. And you’d be right. Tahini is one of the main ingredients in hummus, but don’t fret - this brownie recipe does not taste like hummus! The tahini helps to balance out the flavors in this recipe and ultimately create the most ooey gooey and delectable brownies!
Ok so, these gluten-free tahini brownies are to die for. We gobble them up so quickly at my house! I’m usually a cookie girl, give me a chocolate chip cookie and I will eat not just one but 10. These brownies really give my cookie addiction a run for their money!
Let’s bake these fudgy, dare I say moist, and chocolatey gluten-free tahini brownies!
Ingredients in these Chocolate Fudge Tahini Brownies
Tahini: Tahini gives these brownies their chewy and fudgy texture. The taste is truly unmatched!
Cocoa Powders: A mix of unsweetened cocoa powder and some dark black cocoa powder, because why not? The black cocoa is kind of reminiscent of chocolate oreos, so it adds a rich chocolate flavor to these brownies! You can find a big jar of black cocoa powder on Amazon, and trust me a little goes a long way!
Almond Flour: We’re going gluten-free for this recipe, so grab a bag of blanched Almond Flour from Amazon, Trader Joe’s, Thrive Market, or your local supermarket!
Coconut Sugar: Coconut sugar is my go-to. I love it’s flavoring compared to brown sugar. Whenever I see brown sugar or granulated sugar in a recipe, I instantly swap it for coconut sugar. Plus it’s not a refined sugar, so it contains more nutrients and minerals than a traditional granulated sugar.
Other Ingredients Needed: Two eggs, baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract - the classic when baking.
Optional Mix-Ins/Toppings: If you want it extra chocolatey you can mix in ½ cup of chocolate chips, highly recommend! Or if you’re a fan of nuts, mix in some peanuts, walnuts, or pecans! You can also drizzle these with a little bit of tahini or a sprinkle of maldon salt flakes! Toppings and mix-ins are always choose your own!

These look heavenly and I'm going to try to replicate them.
I've always been curious to try alternatives like Tahini in various recipes. But I never gave it a shot. Maybe i'll try it now! I'm saving the recipe!
